In the past, the Dayal Trust funds enabled HelpAge India to organise intraocular-lens implants and cataract-removal surgeries on 1300 economically challenged senior citizens (2006–07), and supported a solid-waste management project initiated by the Lok Chetna Manch in the Ranikhet area (2007–08) as well as an afforestation programme in five van panchayats (2011). In 2008, the Trust provided support for the setting up of a six-bed medical facility run by Chirag in Sargakhet, near Mukteshwar. Until 2023, the Trust was also closely associated with the M. N. Srivastava Hospital, Kalika, Ranikhet, where we provided state-of-the-art medical facilities and equipment.
